Please be reminded that from 1st September 2013 regulations came into force making it clear that head teachers may not grant any leave during term time unless there are exceptional circumstances. Therefore, unless there are exceptional circumstances the absence request cannot be authorised. This means that any parent/carer who does take their child out of school without authorisation could be subject to a £60 penalty notice per child, per parent from the Local Authority. These are National directives that we must follow and we please ask for your full co-operation.

Parents/carers must inform the school if their child is going to be absent for any reason. If we have not had confirmation by 9:15am, the office staff will contact you. Please ensure that your contact details that the office have are up to date.

Please note that school begins promptly at 8:55am and we expect children to be in school on time. Thank you for your cooperation.
