At Woodnewton – a learning community we sometimes take photographs of pupils. These photographs serve various purposes. For example, some are used in internal displays, some may be put on our website and some are used on our pupil registration system.

For the use of some of these photographs, we require your consent and in order to comply with current data protection regulations, we are refreshing our consent records for pupils within our Academy.

We would like to ask for your consent to use photographs of your child as described in the Parental Consent section on the My Child At School App. You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

1. Access the MyChildAtSchool mobile phone app, this will open the Parent Login screen.
2. Enter your Email Address and Password. ...
3. Click on the Login button.
4. Login to the MCAS account and see all students linked to that Email Address.

We would love to showcase the great work that goes on at Woodnewton. This can be done via school displays, the website and social media e.g. Facebook. To ensure we have the correct consents, can all parents please go onto the parental consent section and check you have given consent. If you can see grey, this means consent has not been given, and you just need to swipe across to change it to green. Even if you think you have given consents in the past, please check as the system was updated in January 2024. Please check for all consents.
