The aim of Design Technology at Woodnewton is to provide opportunities for children to develop their capability by combining designing and making skills with knowledge and understanding in order to create high quality products. This enables the children to feel they can play a constructive role in a technological society.
The children will work with a wide range of materials which include construction kits, textiles and food various Information Technology control packages and electrical and mechanical components will also be explored.
